Based on Luke 7:1-10

Great Faith
steps out of the boat,
reaches for a hem,
walks between parted waters,
leaves nets by the lakeside,
Great Faith
shares bread and fish,
seeks a healing touch,
picks up a mat,
anoints with perfume,
Great Faith
obeys a call to leave,
wanders in the wilderness,
trusts in rainbows,
defies the rules,
believes the empty tomb.

Great Faith
waits patiently,
admits weakness,
carries doubts,
harbors fears.
Great Faith
allows questions,
wrestles temptation,
struggles to make sense,
longs for peace.
Great Faith
makes mistakes,
offers forgiveness,
longs for acceptance,
receives a prodigal’s welcome.

Faith,
small as a mustard seed,
can heal,
renew,
move mountains,
raise the dead.
