For the last thirty years, Pam Smith has been an integral part of the administrative staff of BRPC. We celebrate her tenure on her anniversary, but this celebration is a double-edged sword: Pam is retiring with her husband Marshall for life in Florida. She is looking forward to continuing her love of swimming and hopes to become a bicyclist in the mild winter weather. She also plans to continue as a volunteer for victims of sexual assault. In addition to being on staff, Pam worked in the church nursery for about fourteen years, giving her the chance to meet young families and their children. For her, this was a true joy.

Pam says coming to work has been a pleasure because of “what I do, where I do it, and who I do it with.” Her work has been a blessing to her and her family. She describes her experience this way: “I am the person I am today because of working at BRPC, because of what I do and the people who have shared my journey.” We congratulate Pam on her service to this church and wish her well in the next chapter of her life.
