O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar… I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.— Psalm 139

You know me Lord.
My faults and failings,
hopes and dreams,
worries and concerns.
You know me Lord,
My past regrets
and future fears,
my present need.
You know me Lord,
no thought is hidden,
no action unnoticed,
no desire unseen.
You know me Lord,
more than I wish,
so I try to hide,
run from your presence.
You know me Lord,
and still you love.
You know me Lord,
and still you wait.
You know me Lord
and still you long
for me,
for all of me,
to come into your presence.
You long for me,
to bring all that I am,
all my faults and failings,
all my hopes and dreams,
all my worries and concerns
to you.
You know me Lord,
better than I know myself
for you made me,
fearfully and wonderfully,
you made me,
so that I might come to know you.
