Oak Table Taizé Service
Date(s) - 03/17/2018
5:00 pm - 5:45 pm
Taizé, a small village in the hills of Burgundy, France, has been the home of an ecumenical community of brothers whose prayer, three times each day, is at the center of their lives. The community works for the reconciliation of all of humanity with the Church as a place of communion for all.
Song and scripture are the essential elements of this form of worship. The songs, by using just a few words, express a basic reality of faith. When sung over many times, the songs have a meditative quality that penetrates the whole being so they remain in our hearts and minds, enabling us to continue our prayer after we resume our daily lives. We invite you to join us and allow Christ to speak to you through this form of worship.
