3W’s: Women, the Word and Works
3W’s is a woman’s book group that meets the first Friday of each month in the Church House Parlor. Women of all ages and stages are invited and very welcome to join the group. We read books from a wide variety of genres and discuss them from the perspective of our shared Christian faith. Despite that common bond, there are varied reactions to our reading. The freedom to share what we feel in a safe, affirming environment is a blessing.
Our book for February 2013 is Another Country by Mary Pipher. The premise of the book is that aging is like entering into another world with new language, expectations, limitations, joys and concerns - both for those on the journey and those supporting people who are already there. Please join us!

Laying Down Our Burdens, Led by Rev. Dr. Maureen Paterson ~ New Location! New Speaker! New Price! Same great fellowship! How do the burdens of our lives keep us from living a spirit-filled life? How can you let go of your burdens and still meet the needs of your family, job and community? When are burdens a blessing to be embraced? The annual Women’s Retreat will address these questions. The retreat will be held at the Shrine of Saint Joseph in Stirling, NJ. Registration begins in March – just $30 for a day-long retreat and a delicious meal. Please join us!
