Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Romans 12: 9-12
A Christian wedding means that you wish to enter your married life with the understanding that all of life, including the relationship to each other, takes place under the sovereign love of God, and that you will approach a new relationship in the spirit of serious preparation and joyous expectation.
It means that you have chosen to exchange your vows in a Christian worship service instead of a civil ceremony and, because of this, the services here are guided by the standards of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the spirit of worship.
Please contact Cara Burchett in the church office to discuss planning a wedding.
