This year’s Lenten Offering will support the “Sound Minds” program of Interfaith Hospitality Network. This is a mental health initiative that provides support to client families through a mental health counselor. This includes 24/7 mental health crisis intervention, weekly counseling, referrals and advocacy. Each family in the emergency shelter program is supported by this service as well as continued support when they move into the various phases of the program.
Mental health is a priority for IHN as they support their clients and help them cope and heal from often traumatic backgrounds and promote healthy skills moving towards independence. To support this effort please mark your check Lenten Offering and place in the offering plate between now and Easter.
