YEAH!!! BRPC’s SESSION HAS APPROVED THAT OUR YOUTH GROUP MAY GATHER IN PERSON FOR FELLOWSHIP, DISCUSSIONS, GAMES and SENIORS SHARING VESPERS.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Workcamp T-shirts: ALL ♦ Workcamp Crosses: 1st timers ♦ Special T-shirts: 4 years

Due to the dramatically reduced costs, BRPC will cover the minimal expenses, so Workcamp is FREE!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • All participants wear masks at all times and follow social distance rules (staying at least 6 ft apart).
  • Service Projects will be completed individually or with families.
  • Families are responsible for transportation to and from our evening gatherings.

PREP SESSION for PARENTS, YOUTH and ADVISORS:

Thursday, July 16 from 7:30 – 8:30 pm: attend virtual Prep Session on Zoom – introductions, learn details, and create our commissioning video. In addition to the participants, a PARENT is asked to join this Zoom.

SCHEDULE FOR WORKCAMP WEEK:

Sunday morning (July 26) at 10 am: attend virtual worship (found on www.BRPC.org website), when we will be commissioned.

Sunday night (July 26) from 7 – 8:30 pm: Meet at E. Allen Street Parking Lot, Basking Ridge. Wear a mask and bring a beach towel for sitting, to observe social distance rules.

Monday – Thursday mornings (July 27 – 30) from 10 – 10:30 am: Join our morning virtual Zooms – hear our opening prayers, theme of the day, daily service challenges, and advisor sharing.

Monday and Tuesday nights (July 27 and 28) – meet in small groups from 7 – 8:30 pm: Small groups will meet at homes – TBD. (If the weather is bad, we will meet on Zoom virtually.)

Wednesday and Thursday nights (July 29 and 30): meet at E. Allen St. Parking Lot from 7 – 8:30 pm: Large group gatherings and Vespers sharing,

SPECIAL NOTE: Wednesday, July 25: H.S. Graduated Seniors will meet at Karen Twill’s home (95 Church Rd., Millington) at 9:15 am for breakfast, to then join our 10 am Zoom. Afterwards, Seniors will take a short hike and spend time writing Vespers. Wear a mask and bring a notepad, pen, water bottle and beach towel to sit on.
