Dear Members and Friends,

I have good news to share! Our Session has voted unanimously to move to “Masks optional but welcome” in worship on Sunday morning and for all other areas of our ministry as a church. We are also no longer sitting every other pew in the sanctuary, and instead allowing worshippers to sit wherever they prefer.

For much of the past year we have had a policy which required that everyone with an in-person leadership role be fully vaccinated against COVID. That policy will remain in effect.

We will continue to monitor and follow the guidance of the CDC, and be ready to change course if needed. We ask those who feel ill to remain home, and that anyone who has had an exposure or is a close contact follow the guidance of the CDC based on your vaccination status. Jesus calls us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, and so we remain committed to caring for the well-being of everyone who is part of our faith community.

It’s been over one hundred Sundays since the pandemic began. Thank you for your patience, your persistence, and your faith!

Please be in touch with me if you have any questions or concerns.

With faith and love,

Reverend Dennis W. Jones
Senior Pastor
