God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.— Psalm 46:1
Fellowship of Prayer consists of caring people who pray for members in our church (or those connected to members of our church) who, for many reasons, are in need of prayer. Whether for the joy of a birth or a concern for a friend in the hospital, more than 10 percent of this community of faith commit to praying for those on the prayer list every week.
Intercessory prayer is a spiritual practice which is initiated by God. The apostle Paul assures us that the Spirit, “helps us in our weakness and intercedes with sighs too deep for words.” (Romans 8:26) The Spirit prays in us. Through the Fellowship of prayer, we place all concerns in God’s healing light.
If you have a joy or concern that you would like to have included in the prayer list, or if you would like to receive the weekly list to include in your prayers, please contact Lisa Fabrizio in the Church Office. (For confidentiality purposes, we do not share this list on the website.)
