Jackie Obregon officiates over Children’s Church each Sunday during the 10:15 a.m. service. After the children’s message in the Sanctuary, children ages 3 through Grade 2 are invited to the Chapel. Children’s church is not merely an additional Sunday school program, but rather a church service specifically designed for children of this age group. The children sing age-appropriate songs, hear a daily scripture (which matches the scripture delivered in the Sanctuary if the scripture is a story, or repeats the Sunday school scripture of the day if not), and receive an age-appropriate message regarding the scripture. The children then retire to Westminster Hall for snacks and crafts until joined by their parents for coffee hour. Jackie is always assisted by parents or teenagers in running this program.
