Coffee and Fellowship Time
Volunteers are once again needed to sign up to host our coffee and fellowship time each week. Please help promote church fellowship and keep our family connected by participating in this small but meaningful way. Contact Evelyn Helland at jevelynhelland at gmail dot com, or 908-221-1818 to reserve a date. There is also a folder on the coffee table each Sunday where you can sign up. Evelyn will get back to you!
Homeless Solutions
Homeless Solutions provides shelter for 25 homeless men, 10 homeless women, 19 families and 20 Safe Haven guests. The mission council is seeking volunteers to prepare and serve dinner to these families at the shelter. Volunteers need to arrive at the shelter by 4pm and dinner is served at 6pm. Clean up is done by the shelter residents. All menus are pre-planned or you may prepare your favorite specialty. One volunteer is also needed to shop for the groceries and all receipts are submitted to the church for reimbursement. If you feel called to this very special ministry please contact Karen Cokewood at 908.221.9323. 2015 Dates: May 30, August 8 and October 10.
Ushers Needed for 9 a.m. Worship Service
The Chapel service is searching for ushers. The plan is to create usher captains for each month who are responsible for ushering at the service and identifying a substitute when they are unavailable. We provide an usher instruction sheet as a guide to the usher duties. Ushers may be individuals, couples or families and we are looking for ushers for May and beyond. Please contact Rudy Hyzer at 908-766-3214 if you can help!

Collection of Gently-Used and New Women’s Clothing
As you are bringing out your warmer-weather clothes, please consider the opportunity to help women transitioning from prison to the community at the Bo Robinson Transitional Center in Trenton, by providing clothing for their new life. The women need new or gently-used spring and summer clothing of all sizes— especially jeans, slacks, tops, sweaters, and sweat suits (pants and top). New underwear and bras, any sizes, are particularly needed. Please leave donations in the box in Westminster Hall, or in the coat rack near the parlor in the church house, by May 19. Thank you from the Mission Council!
