Donna Anderle has let us know that she has resigned from her position as Director of Ministries to Youth & Young Adults to pursue a career as a teacher. Donna joined BRPC in September 2014 and made many contributions to the vitality of our Youth Program as well as many friends in her time with us. We wish Donna well on her new journey; please pray for her and for all BRPC Youth & Young Adults in this time of transition.

As a result, at their last meeting Session authorized a search committee to fill the position.  Here’s a description of the person we’re looking for:

Acting Director of Ministries to Youth & Young Adults

Our church seeks an enthusiastic, inspiring leader who feels a calling to lead the religious and spiritual development of youth and young adults. Gifted candidates should have demon- strated experience that reflects spiritual depth, biblical knowledge and a theological founda- tion and will be expected to focus on the following core activities:

  • Proactively and creatively identify and execute opportunities to connect with youth in their daily lives and engage them in developing deeper, meaningful relationships with peers, loved ones, and God.
  • Serve as team leader to adult volunteers to support, equip, and engage them effectively in ministry.
  • Collaborate with church staff to represent and engage youth and young adults in effec- tive church program development and execution.

Reporting to the Pastor/Head of Staff and offering a competitive salary with benefits for an expected 30 hour commitment per week, this interim position has the potential to develop into a longer-term position.
