June 2026

Dear Fellow BRPC Member,

Each year, the churches of the Presbyterian Church USA, of which BRPC is a member, contribute a “Per Capita” apportionment to assist in funding the administrative work of our Presbytery (The Presbytery of the Highlands), Synod and General Assembly. According to the Book of Order, each member church is required to make this payment, based on the membership listed on its church roll. We believe, and take seriously, that it is our responsibility to support the work of the greater Church. Among the many works the Per Capita supports are:

  • Assisting member churches with pastoral transitions, including recruiting and vetting candidates.
  • Providing support for new church development as well as assisting troubled congregations.
  • Supporting and mentoring ministerial candidates as well as youth-oriented programs.
  • Assisting with property and insurance issues for member churches.
  • Participation and support of the General Assembly, which governs our denomination’s policies and practices.

We sincerely appreciate the contributions of those members who faithfully support the church financially as well as those who support BRPC in other ways. However, we would be grateful to all members for fulfilling this additional commitment to the broader Presbyterian Church.

In 2026, the Per Capita apportionment for BRPC is $27,412, equivalent to $44.00 per member. We kindly ask that you remit your family’s Per Capita amount to assist in covering this necessary expense to which BRPC is committed. Your contribution will assist BRPC in both maintaining funded programs vital to our community and ministry, as well as supporting the wider missions of the Presbyterian Church USA.

Payments of $44.00 per each BRPC member, including confirmed youth within your family, may be submitted to the church office, placed in the offering plate, by credit card on our church website (www.brpc.org/donations), or through Venmo (@BaskingRidgePresbyterianChurch). Please indicate “Per Capita” on your payment for proper allocation.

The Session joins me in thanking you for your support of this campaign. God bless you.

Sincerely,

Christina Bramel
Clerk of Session
