Over the past 5 years, Jackie Obregon, our Director of Ministries to Children and their families, has shared more than 200 children’s messages during our Sunday morning worship services. We all enjoy watching as she opens tackle boxes filled with precious treasures stowed by our youngest church goers and spins stories and lessons on themes of faith and love. Her thoughtful way of including children in the sermons and recognizing any child who wants to speak brings joy to the children and smiles and chuckles to the adults in worship. As Director of Ministries to Children and their families, Jackie plans, coordinates and teaches in the Sunday School Program at BRPC. She also works with other program staff to plan and facilitate the Spirit and Little Spirit children’s mid-week Christian Education Program. Each summer she coordinates the Vacation Bible School Program for children of our church and community, guiding and utilizing volunteers of all ages, including our Youth. She often meets with parents and children and serves our congregation in countless ways including teaching a mid-week Bible study. We appreciate the time and talents Jackie shares with our congregation helping children and families grow in Christ. We are also grateful for the gift of Jackie’s wonderful family and for their whole-hearted involvement in the life and ministry of the church. Thank you Jackie!
